I took up your challenge to look for a coded message in the false Chimène
quote. I haven't worked it out completely yet but it seems to work somewhat
along the lines of the "Pada ata" message in Pale Fire. So far I have been
able to discern the following part (perhaps most?) of the message:

party atonement come Carmen

There also seem to be an elf and a bow in it, and possibly a "dear."
