EDNOTE. I'm not sure what you have in mind when you say "historically criticize PNIN, but Galya Diment's book _PNINIAD: Vladimir Nabokov and Marc Szeftel_ University of Washington Press, 1997 explores the historical background of Szeftel upon whom the character PNIN is partly based. Another fine book about PNIN in general is Gannady Barabtarlo, _A Guide to Nabokov's PNIN_ put out by Ardis Publishers in the late 80s.

Greetings,

I am a student at Enterprise High School in California, and I am writing a term paper historically criticising Nabokov's 'Pnin.' If you know of any sources that would be of use (since you appear to be of some scholarly) it would be much appreciated, and credit would be properly given.

Thank you for your time,

Josh Miller
