In Photographic Memory by show biz photographer William Claxton with a forward by Graydon Carter, Powerhouse Books, 2002. In this huge oversize book pp.79-80 there is a double-page portrait of VN taken in NYC in l963. VN and Claxton were walking toward an omlette shop for lunch when it started to rain. VN squints his eyes against the offending rain. Also wonderful never-seen photos of movie stars and other celebs.
