Readers of the 10 December 2001 issue of _The New Yorker_
will find the following on page 114 (in a very entertaining article on
Prince and Michael Jackson's new CDs):

"The ballads are even better. 'Butterflies' has a vapid
lepidopteral lyric, more Mariah Carey than Nabokov, but
Jackson's vocals are astonishing: over a muted, descending
horn line, he works the upper edge of his falsetto."

Cheers,

Juan

PS - I think someone else has mentioned it already, but it
really does seem remakarble that this fine magazine references
Nabokov just about every week.
