I am not a Nabokov but a Perec specialist. In 1981, the French writer
Goerges Perec (1936-1982) said in an interview: "Recently I read that the
number 52 is extremely important in Lolita" (my translation). He may have
read it in French or in English. Could anyone tell me if the information is
true or not and, most importantly, where Perec may have read it. I need
this information for the annotated edition of Prec's interviews with the
press.
