Erica Jong's _Fear of Flying_ actually has a number of clever allusions
to Nabokov - I submitted the one that Juan mentions below, and have been
meaning for several weeks now to e-mail him with a more complete list.
And
the main character's tour of Europe is indeed an amusing parody of HH
and
Lo's cross-country trip.
Jong professes her admiration of Nabokov in her book on Henry Miller,
_The Devil at Large_ (although Miller himself, in a letter to Jong
included in that book, claims that he was "never able to read Nabokov.")
