Below is a brief description of our publication and the relevant

The Carl Beck Papers in Russian and East European Studies fills a
unique niche in the publishing of research dealing with the area of the
former Soviet Union and East Europe. Submissions to the Papers are
anonymously refereed and published as occasional papers. They are
devoted to
topics ranging across the entire field of Slavic, Russian, Soviet,
post-Soviet and East European studies. Each Carl Beck Paper is published
an individual basis, which allows for rapid turnaround, individual
advertising and wide and flexible distribution.

The series is a particularly useful vehicle for works of
intermediate length-i.e., those between a typical journal article and a
book. Minimum length (including notes and bibliography) is 40 pages;
length is 100 pages.

Submissions to the Carl Beck Papers are welcome. Acceptance is based
on anonymous reviews. Manuscripts should be submitted in triplicate and
double spaced throughout, including endnotes, with the author's name and
identifying references deleted from two of the copies. Submissions
be mailed to the address below.
