Following the publication of VERA'S BUTTERFLIES, an examination of 135 VN
books he annotated and/or inscribed to his wife, I prepared lists of his
shelf copies of his English books, Russian books, books in translation,
and associations copies (that is, his books he inscribed to Vera's sister
Sonia, to her cousin, Anna, to Ledig Rowohlt, and one inscribed to him by
Edmund Wilson).
