Cornell University offers a course called "Reading
Nabokov." It's taught by a G. Shapiro, although I'm
sorry to say I don't know what exactly the "G" stands
for. According to the description in the course
catalog, it focuses on four books: The Defense,
Despair, Lolita, and Pnin. I havent yet had a chance
to take it, although I'm looking foward to the
semester when there's enough free space in my schedule
to fit it in. Also, S. Senderovich (once again, I
apologize for my ignorance of the professor's first
name) teaches a course entitled "Vladimir Nabokov vs.
Jean-Paul Satre." From what I can gather, the course
details the conflict between the two.
