The September issue of _Harper's Magazine_ features on p. 38 "Eggs a la
Nabocoque" - Nabokov's recipe for boiling eggs (written in 1972). The
recipe had been on display in "Nabokov Under Glass" at the New York
Public Library.
I think that I had best refrain from comment! However, I did rather like
his,"Stand over them with a spoon preventing them (they are apt to roll)
from knocking against the damned side of the pan." It is the vision which
this conjures up...
