Some time ago, I read somewhere in Nabokov criticism that 'Doctor Fricke'
from Nabokov's short story 'Scenes from the Life of a Double Monster' is an
allusion to Dr. Freud. I would like to mention the 'Fricke-Freud'
connection in the essay I am working on, but I don't remember the title of
the article or the name of the author. If the author is on this list, I
would appreciate hearing from him/her (zunshine@humanitas.ucsb.edu). Thank you.
