I seem to remember someone on this list mentioning a reference to an alien
(or monster or something) named Kinbote on the TV show "X Files." This was
followed by some discussion of the appearance of VN themed names and places
on the show (which I generally do not watch).
I happened watch the ending last night, and noticed that the setting was a
California town called "Loleta." [sic]
For what it's worth (and for those of you keeping score at home).
