Subject
Braun in "Conclusive Evidence"
Date
Body
Intrigued by the speculation on Barbara Braun/_When Lilacs Last_, I ran a
search on Altavista which turned up the following (abridged) information
on a woman named Barbara Wittman Braun, Russian matriarch of a clan that
seems to have wended its way to Kansas in the late nineteenth century.
Scarcely likely that VN was paying tribute. I offer this only as further
proof that it's possible to drive a snowplow through the gap between the
possible and the probable. (And if you do drive the plow, please please
please don't bury my car any deeper!)
