It is highly unlikely that Nabokov would in any way want to
resemble or even remind a reader of the works of Eliot. In ADA, Nabokov
refers to the anti-Semetic Eliot as "Mr. Eliot, a Jewish businessman." (p.
5) His debasement of Eliot only emphasizes his stong disrespect for him,
as well as his works.
