Certainly the single most important research aid for the aspiring or
veteran VN scholar is THE GARLAND COMPANION TO VLADIMIR NABOKOV, ed.
Vladimir Alexandrov (Garland, 1995), pp. 848. It retails for a hefty
$95(?). I see from the Winter catalogue from "The Scholar's Bookshelf"
that it can be mail ordered for $85. Still steep, but you p[robably cannot
get it for less. Contact books@scholarsbookshelf.com for order info. It is
item 4GY6P.

The same catalogue offer Michael Wood's recent _The Magisicna's Doubts:
Nabokov and the Risks of Fiction_. Item 4HT5P. at $9.95.
