I came across two items re Nabokov in the latest (November 1996)
issue of "Women East-West," the newsletter sponsored by the Association for
Women in Slavic Studies.

According to the newsletter, a conference entitled "Women of the
Silver Age in Russia and Emigration: Fates and Writings" was held in St.
Petersburg on Sept. 23-25. One of the papers given at the first plenary
session is listed as M. V. Ledkovskaia, "Memuary sester Nabokovykh"
[Memoirs of the Nabokov Sisters].

At the conference entitled "Gender and Sexuality in Russian
Civilization," organized by Peter Barta at the University of Sussex, June
10-12, 1996, David Larmour read a paper entitled "Gender Games in Nabokov's
GLORY."
