EDITOR'S NOTE. Andreas Rath <a2323800@athena.rrz.uni-koeln.de> is
looking into an interesting topic. With reference to VN's THE EYE, he
might want to check my essay in the GARLAND GUIDE TO VLADIMIR NABOKOV,
ed. by Vladimir Alexandrov. It will refer the reader to more extended
discussion of the narratorial devices in THE EYE by myself and others.
Julian Connolly's _Nabokov's Early Fiction_ also comes to mind. Other
suggestions appreciated.

Dear Nabokovians
In my research about the formalist concept of skaz-narration I am writing
about these aspects in the russian works of Vladimir Nabokov.
What do you think are the main features of unreliable narration in The Eye?
