Several days ago the NY Times carried a piece about James Freedman, president
of Dartmouth College. An avid collector, Freedman mentions something along
the lines of being one volume away from completing his set of Nabokov first
editions. I wonder what volume he is missing?
On a related note, I am unable to find price guides or other resources which
would give me some idea as to the relative value of VN's boxed _Eugene
Onegin_, of which I have a copy in very good condition, 1st ed. (I believe).
A couple of unrepaired closed tears on dust wrappers, printing on spine of
slip case is slightly faded.
It is not for sale; I just wonder whether I should go beyond ordinary
measures in preserving it.
Thanks for any advice.
