Query: VN &Hamlet (fwd)

Body
In view of the recently released Kenneth Branagh's adaptation of "Hamlet" I have
a couple of inquiries bearing only an oblique relationship to VN:
1) Brian Boyd describes in his biography how Nabokov railed against Lawrence
Olivier's film version. What, specifically, did VN have against it?
2) Even more obliquely: when discussing VN's methods of teaching literature, BB
gives several examples of good "Why?" questions, among them "Why does Gertrude
not see old Hamlet's ghost?" and "Why does Shakespeare have us all believe that
Hermione is dead?".
Does BB give his answers to these questions anywhere?
Thanks,
