EDITOR's NOTE. Stacy Schiff <SMSchiff@aol.com>, author of the forthcoming
biography of Vera Nabokov, offers "The Genius and Mrs. Genius: The Very
Nabokovian Marriage of Vladimir and Vera" (p. 41-47) in the Feb. 10 _New
Yorker_ which finally hit my rustic mailbox today. The piece, a variant
of Ms. Schiff's talk at the Mercantile Library Nabokov fest last October,
is a delight to read and provides a fresh perspective on the Nabokovs.
NABOKV-L subscribers are invited to offer their thoughts to Stacy Schiff
via the list.
As an aside---no, Stacy Schiff is NOT related to Stephen
Schiff, the _New Yorker_ writer who did the script for the forthcoming
Adrian Lyne LOLITA.

via NABOKV-L, especially so as to be able to be as accurate as possible
next time around, between hard covers. Will do my best to respond to
