To D. Barton Johnson and other Nabokovians:
It is true that the Zinaida S. manuscript materials in the
Library of Congress are unrestricted because of the source. Also
unrestricted are 133 other items acquired in 1991--chiefly
letters to Gleb Struve written by Nabokov and his wife, Vera, on
his behalf. Primarily in Russian, with English summaries. Cite
accession number 20,530. And we have a note from Vera to Jay
Wilson (20,414, unrestricted).
Other Nabokov manuscripts here are currently restricted.
