I, as editor, have suggested that some purpose might be served if
subscribers shared information on their current Nabokov research and
teaching. Brian Boyd offers the following information:

"I teach a Nabokov course some years in our graduate English
program, and teach LOLITA every year in an undergraduate 20C fiction
course. I have also taught PNIN in first year Russian literature, and THE
REAL LIFE OF SEBASTIAN KNIGHT and BEND SINISTER in another undergraduate
English course.
"Current Nabokov projects: an edition of Nabokov's butterfly
writings, scientific and otherwise, with Robert Pyle, author of the
Audubon Guide to the Butterflies of North America, and with Dmitri Nabokov as
translator of the second appendix to Dar (THE GIFT); the ongoing work
ADA annotations, first for THE NABOKOVIAN and for separate book
publication; a chronology and annotations to PALE FIRE and ADA for the
Pleiade Nabokov; and an article on Nabokov's fallibility for NABOKOV STUDIES."

I invite other scholars to follow Brian Boyd's good example and
send in a short description of their work-in-progress. THE EDITOR
