Everyone has probably seen it by now but in todays (Feb. 27) NY Times
Book Review there is a review of Martin Amis's VISITING MRS. NABOKOV AND
OTHER EXCURSIONS from which (the review, that is) one can learn that
Nabokov was "a compulsive tipper" and Vera "insisted on picking up the
check for drinks with Mr. Amis." In case you are interested in buying the
book (if only for the title), it's $20.00.
