The American Association for the Advancement of Slavic Studies will hold
its 1994 national convention at the Wyndam Franklin Plaza in Philadelphia
November 17-20,
According to the preliminary program, two Nabokov papers will
be presented.
1) Maxim D. Shrayer (Yale).... "The Post-Epistolary and the
Proto-Autobiographical in Nabokov's Short Stories" (Thurs., Nov. 17;
1-3pm; session 1-2).
2) Gennady Barabtarlo (Missouri)... "On Location: Photographing Nabokov's
Milieux" (Sat., Nov. 19: 4:15-6:15; session 11-15).
Comment: An article on VN's "Cloud, Castle, Lake" by Maxim Shrayer and a
selection of five of Gene Barabtarlo's photographs will shortly appear in the
first issue of NABOKOV STUDIES.
