Unless I have missed a communique, no one seems to have taken as a basis
for a definition of romanticism the opposition of real/ideal, which would
account for Dieter Zimmer's entire array of romans romantiques, and even
include Anna Karenina inasmuch as Tolstoy there tries to redefine the romantic
opposition into a more resolvable one than, say, Schelling, allowed.
