Re: Roy Johnson's comments about mysogyny

A misogynist is a person who hates women. Where in VN's work, I ask, is
there evidence that Vladimir Nabokov, the man (not the narrator and
certainly not the serial Vladimir Nabokovs constructed by scholars and
pseudo-scholars of every ilk--few of whom ever met the man) hates women?

Humbert loved a girl-child. What does this have to do with Nabokov's hating
women?

I wonder how Nabokov's wife, mother, sisters and female friends would have
responded if told: "Vladimir hates women. I can prove it. I've read his
books."
