I don't know how many VN enthusiasts read Sunset Magazine, but in the
interest of completeness it should be noted that in the most recent issue
a review of a book titled LIFE ON THE EDGE (BioSystems Books, Santa Cruz,
Calif., 1994) includes contributions that range "from an Owens Valley
Paiute legend on the creation of the earth to a poem on a butterfly by
Vladimir Nabokov. . . ." I haven't seen the book, so I don't know which
poem--possibly "Esmeralda"?
