Nabokovians,
I am very pleased to announce that the University Libraries of The
Pennsylvania State University have approved a proposal to create and
maintain a Nabokov WWW site here at Penn State.
The site is still being developed and should be mounted in six weeks.
As part of the development process, I would like to solicit ideas for what
the site might include from you, the subscribers of NABOKV-L. I hope to
make the site an invaluable resource for Nabokov scholars worldwide, and I
have little doubt the World Wide Web will be a crucial part of the future
of scholarly research and publication.
Specifically, I seek three things:
1) Ideas (and offers) about what to include on the site
2) Suggestions for a site name
3) The names, email addresses (and URLs for the home pages) of
every subscriber to this list who would like to be listed in an Index of
Nabokovians that will probably be a part of the site.
