For those of you who can't wait for the Knopf volume of VN's collected
stories as reported by Michael Juliar yesterday, the October 1995 issue
of _Playboy_ has the very short story "Razor" written 11-12 Feb. 1926.
Translated by Dmitri Nabokov, it is appearing for the first time in
English. It is one of the early stories that VN did not find worthy of
inclusion in any of his Russian or English collections. Several of these
(13?) wil be in the Knopf collection, but have been appearing in various
magazines over the last months---_Playboy_, _The New Yorker_, etc.
