Last of all, for the cat-loving Nabokovians out there (of whom there are
obviously many), I recommend May Sarton's *The Fur Person*, a feline
biography of her cat, Tom Jones, which mentions his special friendship with
VN (who cared for him when the Nabokovs house-sat for Sarton). Sarton's
book is still in print.
