Dear Nabokovians,
There will be a rehearsed reading of The Tragedy of Mister Morn, translated
by myself and Anastasia Tolstoy, at the Red Bull Theatre in Greenwich
Village, New York, this
Monday December 9th; I'll be speaking afterwards.

I understand that the director and actors are very highly regarded in the
New York theatre scene, and although this is not a full production, it
looks as if it will be the nearest
thing to it.
For anyone who doesn't know, The Tragedy of Mister Morn is a five-act
Shakespearean tragedy about revolution, which Nabokov wrote in the winter
of 1923-4. It was not published in
his own lifetime, and the Russian text appeared only in 1997; and our
translation in 2011/2.
